Kevin is our Game Developer. He has created games and built content for prominent brands in both entertainment and education, including Nickelodeon, ESPN, and Cartoon Network as well as Columbia Pictures, Warner Bros, Avon, and Bloomingdales. With a primary focus on user experience, his expertise fall at the crossroads of coding and creativity—where unique and engaging solutions are born. His website is www.interactivemonster.com

Kavita is our illustrator. She created the 200+ illustrations for HangArt using the app’s custom drawing tool which saves each piece of art as a set of data points that can be played back. A dreamer and doer of her own Make Believe Design Studio, she has spent years in the children's educational and entertainment industry, including art directing the award winning kids' magazine Kahani, and working with networks like Disney Jr., Nick Jr., and Sesame Street Productions. Steve is our UX Designer. Fascinated by the intersection of technology and art, he uses both sides of his brain to figure out design solutions that are creative, functional, and feasible. He followed his passion for interactive children’s media by earning a Master’s of Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University. The father of two young boys, he currently lives in Austin, TX. His favorite conversations often involve board games, art, and Star Wars. His website is www.stevegeist.com.

Alexia enjoys working with children, and is particularly enthusastic about developing educational programs to help families from all over the world feel included and supported in the United States. She has contributed to projects at the Bronx Family Court and at Sesame Workshop that help promote digital equity and change educational policy. Tim is our editorial advisor. A freelance writer and editor with more than two decades of experience in educational and children's publishing. In 1990 he founded Agincourt Press, publishing high-quality history and biography for young people. In the years that followed he headed up the trade divisions at Ariel Press, Joshua-Morris, and The Winslow Press, as well as wrote more than a dozen fiction and nonfiction books, including a science fiction novel for young adults. His guiding imperative is to get young people reading.

She runs #GalleryPaige, a digital art laboratory and gallery in Minneapolis, developing oil paintings, video projections and fashion with elements of digital art, programed LEDs and QR Codes. Her prototype #DrawArt application inspired aspects of HangArt, including our Word Gallery. Paige was included in the Gutai Card Box, in the exhibit Gutai: Splendid Playground, at the Solomon R.
